Google Doodle: Langston Hughes’ 113th Birthday

You know, I love a good Google Doodle. It was nice to see the video tribute to Langston Hughes today for what would have been his 113th birthday.

As one of the most famous people from the Harlem Renaissance, the music along with the sound of the typewriter is a way to bring Hughes’ words and that era to life.

  1. I get giddy at Google Doodles, too. And, oh, I love Langston Hughes. He and Pablo Neruda and Billy Collins are my favorite poets. With those three in your pocket, you have a poem for any occasion.
